I bought Oofoos slides after months of extreme heel pain. They felt so soft and supportive on my sore foot, however I occasionally noticed the toe would fold under and trip me a little. Well, this happened one day as I was carrying laundry down the stairs. The right toe folded under and tripped me. I only fell down two stairs but basically crumpled straight down. My ankle was severely broken. I now have 9 screws and a plate in my ankle. These shoes are dangerous!!!!

I ordered a pair of slides and wore them a few days. They were comfortable but very soft and squishy. While just walking from my kitchen to my living room, the front of one folded under and I fell right on my face. Had a black eye for 3 weeks and hit a front tooth which requires a root canal. Ugh!!! So I gave them to my sister who tripped on them 4 times, almost falling. Needless to say, we will not be ordering any of these again.

I’ve purchased 3 pairs of ladies flip flops and with all three the strap broke. The first two pairs broke within 3 months and were replaced, but the last broken strap after 4 months and caused me to trip and fall, bruising my knee and fracturing my toe. I sent the customer service people a note about a weeks ago, but have not heard any response. Loved the product comfort, but the quality is poor and I would caution people to look for a better product elsewhere.

I give the flip flop 5 stars on comfort! Hands down. However, get them wet and you're in for a tumble because you feet will slide sideways right out of them. If you get caught in rain, or get them wet by the pool or lake, take them off. I slipped several times-even trying to be careful knowing they are "slippery when wet," and I still had an issue. The last time I was walking (not running) while in a light rain and slipped when I stepped on a parking stripe.
Love the comfort, but I take them off if they get wet.

I wanted to wait long enough to give a review based on my experience with Oofos. I was used to walking on hardwood floors (barefoot) around the house. When I first started wearing them, my feet hurt at the end of the day. After a few days I reached out to customer service and received a reply from Linda immediately. I explained my situation and she was able to expertly guide me toward being a happy customer! The Oofos foam was something all those little muscles and bones in my feet needed to acclimate to. So I tried a few different styles and found the fit that worked best for me. Now they feel like the recovery shoes that they are supposed to be! I found Linda to be so knowledgeable and helpful! Oofos customer service is top notch. I now have several pairs and will be a customer for life! Can’t wait for the return of the boots! I hope this helps!

These shoes should come with a strong WARNING. Do Not Wear While Feet or Shoes are Wet. I gave my best friend a pair of flip flops. She put them on while her feet were a little wet, and took a HARD fall onto the cement as her feet SLID out of the shoes. Had to see a doctor 3 weeks after fall as knees weren't healing. I too have almost fallen while wearing slides when feet got a little wet. Fix them or take off the market. Buyer BEWARE

I decided to invest in what i thought was a pair of flip flops that would soften the impact on my knees at home since we only have tile flooring. $80 later I wish I could return them. My feet are killing me now and I cannot walk with my normal gait. Hard to describe. I purchased from amazon a week ago. I kept thinking I would get used to them but its only getting worse. My feet have never hurt like this before.

I found Oofos several years ago and they literally changed my life. They have protected my feet from the chronic plantar fasciitis that kept me from being on my feet longer than an hour. I have purchased 6 or so pairs, flip-flops, mules, and low shoes.

I will say that I have experienced slipping and falling quite a few times in them. The soles get very smooth. Also, when wet or sweaty, my feet slide around inside them. Socks would probably help in the low shoes but, because the shoes have limited sizing, socks are too much in the small and they scoot off my feet in a bigger size.

I wear them as my only shoe, or I'd not be able to walk. The cost is prohibitive, however. So I end up wearing them until the holes in the soles are unbearable. I currently am applying duct tape on the bottoms of my low shoe soles to try to keep my feet dry from rainfall on my way inside the assisted living facility where I work with the elderly.

I love them but they have drawbacks.

One star for the cushy feeling but beyond that these shoes are dangerous. They either give too much traction if you move too quickly and then you end up stuck while your body is still moving -or- they’re extremely slippery if they get even a little bit wet. to Awful for going up stairs too.
